Day 1-3: London Calling

Day 1: Arriving in the Capital

Tip 1 : if you are travelling in group, think to take Uber instead of metro, sometimes it can be cheaper

Welcome to London, mates! After touching down at Heathrow or Gatwick, hop on the Underground and head straight to your accommodation. Drop off your bags and resist the jet lag – there’s too much to explore! Start with a stroll along the South Bank of the Thames. Take in iconic sights like the London Eye, Big Ben (currently under renovation, but still impressive), and the majestic Tower Bridge. Finish the day with a pint at a classic British pub.

Day 2: Discovering London’s Gems

Rise and shine! Today, we’re diving into London’s rich history. Begin your day with a visit to the Tower of London, where you can marvel at the Crown Jewels and learn about the city’s royal past. Next up, wander over to Buckingham Palace to catch the Changing of the Guard ceremony – a quintessential London experience. Afternoon tea at a cozy café is a must, followed by a leisurely stroll through Hyde Park or a visit to the British Museum.

Day 3: Embracing London’s Diversity

London’s cultural tapestry is as diverse as it gets, so today we’re immersing ourselves in its multicultural charm. Start your day with a hearty breakfast in Notting Hill before exploring the vibrant Portobello Road Market. Then, hop on the Tube to Camden Town, where you can browse eclectic stalls, sample street food from around the world, and soak up the lively atmosphere. End your London adventure with a West End show – from musicals to plays, there’s something for everyone.

Day 4-6: Manchester Magic

Day 4: Welcome to the North

All aboard! It’s time to hop on a train and head north to Manchester. Upon arrival, drop your bags at your hotel and get ready to explore. Begin your Mancunian adventure with a visit to the iconic Manchester Town Hall, followed by a stroll through the bustling Northern Quarter. Grab lunch at a trendy café and then delve into Manchester’s industrial past at the Science and Industry Museum.

Day 5: Football Fever

Manchester is synonymous with football, so today we’re diving headfirst into the beautiful game. Start your day with a stadium tour of either Old Trafford (home of Manchester United) or the Etihad Stadium (home of Manchester City). Afterwards, pay homage to footballing legends at the National Football Museum. In the evening, catch a live match at a local pub or head to the Manchester Arena for a concert – the city’s music scene is legendary.
